Santosh, Thanks for cc.ing me with this message as I have opted for the digest form of GoaNet messages which makes for cumbersome replying to threads. The reason for going with the digest format is exactly the reason we are discussing this... the abysmal ratio of content to fluff on GoaNet which is not being helped by chain letters, hoaxes and urban myths.
The validity of the information and the inspirational messages are a moot point if they are not, in some way, pertinent to Goa and Goans in general, without religious implications as GoaNet purports to be a secular forum. There are several online services to get daily Christian inspiration via e-mail for those who need it. I hope that the GoaNet admin. team takes some steps to limit these infractions so that I can revert to receiving individual messages without having to wade through tripe that has not even been checked via snopes.com . Sincerely, Kevin Saldanha Mississauga, Canada ps. Apologies for the formatting, I'm using mail2web online service /ks Original Message: ----------------- From: Santosh Helekar [EMAIL PROTECTED] 5. No matter how many advocates come out in force to justify and defend the spread of chain letters, urban legends and hoaxes on Goanet, those of us who feel duty bound to debunk this garbage would continue to do our part as well. Cheers, Santosh -------------------------------------------------------------------- mail2web - Check your email from the web at http://mail2web.com/ .
