Dear Goans Everywhere, There is a major difference here --
Government is trying to improve the lot of scheduled castes and scheduled tribes -- who for all these years were deprived of all facilities for study and economic improvement -- Whereas when we "Christians" talk of 'CASTE' in matrimonial advts we are trying to perpetuate this discrimination with a view to keeping the so called "LOWER CASTES" where they were and where these "Christians" would like them to remain!!! I look forward to the day when we Goans -- Christians, Hindus, Muslims and any other religions -- can say that we are Goans first and foremost and will do our very best for our compatriots with a view to gradually improving the whole state -- Let us not be ' GOAN CRABS " -- pulling each other DOWN !!!!!!!
