Friends of Goa, an informal group of NY/NJ
Goans plan to celebrate World Goa Day on August 27th
at Manorhaven Beach Park in Long Island where we have
reserved a venue for approx. 250 people to congregate.
We cordially extend an invitation to you for
participation in this important yearly event which is
celebrated worldwide to herald our culture and
heritage. We are a nonsectarian group with an
objective to bring all like-minded folks together in a
spirit to bridge our differences if any, and emphasize
our commonality by way of language, tradition and

In view of the limit of 500 participants, we will
be able to accommodate on a first come first serve
basis. I would therefore appreciate your advising of
the number of family and friends who would attend.
I would also invite attendees to participate in
the Indian Idol competition. If instrumental

details of the material of the performance.
