1) Although Consumer Safety at home for LPG users is important and an awareness drive necessary, whilst transportation of these LPG cylinders, does not the provider consider the safe transportation of these cylinders? Many a time have i seen precariously piled "full" cylinders on their onward journey, on a rickety ole' truck, posing a hazard to those sharing the road..... 2) Also,, the cylinder is supposed to be carried onto the "helper"'s (employed by the provider) shoulders to the home of the consumer, isn't it? Well, if it's a 100 meter sojourn to the home from the vehicle and the road is rough, the filled cylinders are wheel-barrowed (cylinder laid horizontally on the ground and pushed with the foot)! Isn't this dangerous???? 3) Customer service by way of physical transfer (there are people employed by the provider to do this)of the cylinders to the door step of the customer is not given importance. There have been instances in my village were they do not care a damn when an aged couple (whose request has been ignored by the so called "helper") struggle to carry the cylinder from the road to their home. It would be interesting to get some answers from the "horse's mouth" so to say. Thanks!
