It reminded me of a voyage on Konkan Sevak to Ratnagiri on an NCC camp. We'd set out jauntily, enjoying our sea voyage, but had to crawl back to Goa in rickety ST buses after one of the worst storms on the west coast (which incidentally almost sank the Sabarmati) left us hungry and miserable .
