The Indo-European group of languages includes Sanskrit and Latin. there is no such thing as "Indian" Language. The evolution of languages has has some uncanny overlaps "Dev" and "Devchar" is closer to "Dei" and "Deimon" than "God" and "Satan" or "Dev" and "Asura". Could it be possible that Konkani evolved with the Rumani [Romanian Gypsies] or with their Indian counterparts, the Lamani?? I am no linguist. Obviously, neither are you. ................................................. > From: Elroy Fernandes <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Subject: [Goanet] RE: Goa's Official Language - Advisory Board > i want to say that konkani is a indian lauguage , > it has come from sanskrit , > we have to keep it in this original , > we also have it in roman , > but we should not lose the conection > ------------------------------ > From: "Ancy S.
