Hi Gilbert,
I don't feel strongly about this particular issue to want to argue. However, 
when I read any book, I tend to look at the references provided. Minimally, 
they provide me with some historical sequence about who wrote what and when. 
Also, where there is some convergence or divergence of ideas. It is just 
that I feel a sense of loss if there is no bibliography/reference section.
