Every now and then in Goan cyberspace, either due to a sense of insecurity or hubris (or alternating between the two), Goans (mostly Catholics) write about the best place to live. Invariably comparisons (usually shallow) follow. If we are lucky it stops there, but the next stop is Goan identity. Next bus-stop non-Goans versus Goans.
How about we acknowledge that EVERY place and people on earth has plusses and minuses and we should make the best of where we find ourselves in the very limited time we have.
