Don't know about the Police celebrating festivals, but Amchea Mapxeam, it's the Mapuca Merchants who celebrate these festivals and in grand style. One must know that most of the merchants in Mapuca are Hindus, and some are Muslims, and Christians, but yet, all join in these occasions and create th= e festive atmosphere. With Christmas carols blaring loudly, and a wonderful crib a huge one for that, and everyday programs in the evening.
