I think the bulk of the evidence on global warming supports Maurice's and my
recent take on this issue. A minority like you, who seemingly 'worship'
American capitalism, despite its ravaging nature, fight on. Good luck to you
as I have said before. But I suggest that you are thoroughly confused
thinking that envy comes into the picture at all. It is the very survival of
the planet, as we
know it, that really matters and the current American administration ignores
this and imperils us all, including militarily making the world ever so
dangerous.
You can keep your America Mario, I wouldn't have it even if you paid me for
it. I saw it well at first hand and I reckon well before you
stepped in there. I rejected it and provided my reasons for this. Even the
knowledge that, (thanks to Rosa Parks, as reminded by a wise guy in one of
our posts), today you are not required to sit at the back of your local bus
in rust-belt Toledo, this would not tempt me to your beloved America for
residence purposes i.e. until progressive forces as epitomised by George
Pinto's position, and others, with a lot of good sense, took over the reins
from your reactionary lot!
I have spelt out my reservations about the American exploitative scenario in
many posts and have no wish to waste my time repeating myself. I also have
better things to do than engage in endless futility when responding to your
posts. These have truly been beyond the threshold of sheer boredom for most
people and as actually stated in some Goanet posts.
