3 municipal COs transferred BY HERALD REPORTER PANJIM, JAN 24 – The Department of Personnel, Secretariat, Porvorim, in an order issued on Tuesday, transferred three chief officers of municipal councils with immediate effect. Chief Officer, Ponda Municipal Council, V P Dangui, has been posted as Assistant Director (Administration) in the Directorate of Industries, Trade & Commerce. Dipak Desai, Deputy Collector and SDO, has been ordered to hold Dangui's place in addition to his own duties until further orders. Suresh D Prabhu, CO of Canacona Municipal Council has been posted at Cuncolim and Ms Biju R Naik, CO of Cuncolim Council will report to the Personnel Department.
