Timely arrival of fire tenders saved a liquor factory from being gutted at Baingini in Old Goa early today. Three fire tenders rushed to the factory immediately on receipt of information that the canteen of the factory caught fire following explosion of an LPG cylinder at about 0600 hrs. Workers residing in the area are safe but property worth about Rs 5 lakh was gutted, according to Assistant Fire Officer Nanodkar.(UNI)
