Dearest Jose, < Over to you ...for the final word. I have said my piece. (If there are two different athiests (sic) known as Kevin Saldanha, I stand corrected) >
Thank you for providing me with an opportunity to stand you corrected! 'Believe it or Not' (Ripley's?) there are TWO atheist Kevin Saldanhas on this earth. When I first found the article you referenced, I was pleasantly concerned to learn that someone else was writing articles on Religious Belief under my name. The article was beautifully written and elucidated everything that I felt, but much more eloquently than I could ever have done. I wrote to the webmaster of bigissueground.com and complained about it. However the time frame for that article (2001) was before my deconversion and wondered about any intended fraud. I got a reply that the article was indeed written in 2001 by a Kevin Saldanha who lives in the UK and is an artist, owning an art store in London. http://tinyurl.com/lgyag > At 9 New Quebec Street Kevin Saldanha has > opened Sculptastic (www.sculptastic.co.uk), > selling contemporary sculpture for the home. from http://tinyurl.com/z4ftu I contacted him and have maintained a collegial relationship with him. He indeed is an atheist, of Manglorean/Irish descent. I have copied him with this mail and hope that he responds to the list (if he is monitoring this gmail address). He was a frequent contributor to the internet infidels discussion board at http://www.iidb.org/vbb/index.php forums under the pseudonym Escape Velocity. They also have an interesting website at http://www.infidels.org/ As for updating my bio, I feel that is entirely unnecessary. I am no longer on the building liason committee for the St. Francis Xavier Church but I feel no compunction to hide my previous involvement with that organization. However, I have been remiss in adding my new affiliations to my bio. These days, GoaNet has been taking up more than it's appropriate share of my time ;-) In Solidarity with all the Atheist Kevin Saldanhas of this world, Kevin A. R.
