The following is the response to my write up on Tiatrist Samuel Carvalho,
this response though addressed to me by Daniel D'Souza personally yet I am
publishing it openly for the benefit and knowledge of the readers especially
those who should know more of the Tiatro Bhogsonne - All Ladies Show which
is going to be staged on 2nd Thursday March at Hawally A/C Hall, starting at
6.30 p.m. To insert Daniel's comment in this forum, I called him in Goa at
his place in Vasco over phone and got his permission. Daniel is a renowned
journalist, he writes regularly for Goan Newspapers in English and Konknai
too. Presently he is editing Portrust Magazine at Marmagoa where he is
employed. He is regularly penning down reviews of the Tiatros. This is
what he has to say about Bhogsonnem.

'Bhogsonnem' is an excellent presentation of all ladies show. Besides good
direction, a absorbing storyline, the show is enhanced with some appealing
audio visuals. But, the highlight of the show is the individual performance
of the artistes. Fatima, Betty Ferns, Felcy and Aplonia stand tall with
their superb roles. I can safely say they have given a lifetime performance
in their respective roles. Fatima's role as the 'father' will be remembered
for a long, long time to come. Having seen the show several months ago, i
can still visuaise this talented artist with that moustache,a French beard,
a noticeable paunch and the walking stick.
Comedian Janet will surely steal your hearts with her solo mimicking
William de Curtorim to the hilt, don't miss her walk, perfect to every
step. while Felcy will provide a once in a while opportunity in her solo
mimicking the 'Jadugar' of the Konkani stage Padmashree M. Boyer to the
very last detail.
The show is a gem from Samuel Carvalho, and missing it will deprive you of
some wonderful entertainment and memorable performance from our lady
artistes.
Good luck to the director and the entire cast of 'Bhogsonnem'.
