Apropos the above a report 6/5/2006 - a reference was
made to Dr Savia Veigas, QUOTE .....stating "SHE
herself had risen from humble beginnings having been a
child of a sea-farer and learnt under the candle
light" -- UNQUOTE
Dr Veigas in a teletalk with this writer today
11/5/2006 afternoon kindly clarified that the above
sentence ought NOT to be attributed to HER but it was
a reference made by her -- to the PEOPLE OF her
VILLAGE Carmona who are mainly seafarers and have
studied under the candle light.
This clarification is therefore intended to set things
in its proper perspective.
