Hi Fred, No one can accuse some of the conservative Christians in the USA who have lined up in support of Israel as being too bright. Israel is exterminating Christians in its random bombing raids in Beirut. I have no doubt that some of these conservative Christians who are expressing support for Israel think Israel is bombing Muslims. And if you listen to right-wing talk radio in the US, there are no innocent Muslims. This is the world we live in. Bomb a country (Iraq) to impose democracy and bomb another country (Lebanon) to save their government. I think even Orwell would be surprized. For the record, I do not condone any violence by any group taking innocent lives or destroying property, regardless of how justified they believe their cause.
