Thanks for your kind words. Regarding denigration and
the mob/herd mentality reference, please do not be
misled by other people's characterization of my
writings. The mob/herd reference was made in
connection with a general distinction between an
unorganized individual and an organized group,
religious or otherwise. My views about religion have
not changed at all over the last 30 years. I have
always maintained that there is good and bad in all
religions, and that most people need it for their
psychological well being. Indeed, I have always spoken
against the elimination of religion from our society,
when people have made such suggestions in this forum
in the past.
Finally, for the record I am not an atheist - never
been one.
