Dear Gilbert, I don't recall sharing the status of my daughter's initiation into the Catholic sacraments, with this forum. Perhaps you can dig up that post if it escapes my memory now. I do recall sharing it in a personal correspondence with some members of this forum, to whom it is obvious the sanctity of "personal" means nothing.
Be that as it may, my daughter's entry into the Catholic religion has no bearing on my religious or non-religious views. I've made my decisions as an adult. I've had that privilege of choosing with all the information at my hand. I shall accord the same to my daughter. She will be a Catholic and she will be introduced to all that science and secular thought has to offer as well. Whichever path enriches her life, she is free to chose her own destiny. I cannot rob her of that choice. I hope that answers your question. There is no dichotomy, except in your own mind Gilbert. And as for the "open letter to my mum", I was ofcourse being extremely facetious. Please do not respond, as this will be my last post on the matter. You can ofcourse write to me privately. Khein rag na mogal Gilbert.
