The tourists who come to our beaches lack common sense. They can see the see roaring like a lion and even a little five year would see danger in venturing into the sea. Going into a rough sea after 6.30pm is like commiting suicide. i have see myself various boards put up on the shore warning you of danger. Life guard is not a god that can just fly in the air like spider man and save you. He is also a human being, a family man. Some tourist drink and when they are not use to drinking they immediately go high and sometimes with suit boot and tie they jump into the sea. Those students who take a trip to Goa should have enough of teachers with them and their heads in the respective schools where they are studying should first give them guide lines about the dangers of the sea. One must know to swim in the sea. We have foreigners going in the water but they first study the tide timings and venture into the sea. During the high tide the water enters the sea and during the low tide the water goes away from the sea. If you venture into the sea at the begining of low tide then definitely you are pulled away into the sea and that is the wrong time for you to the sea. The sea these days is very rough. The colour of the water is mud colour and the sea makes roaring sound. One must use common sense and not jump into the sea to show off
