It was mentioned that Joe Rose had a restaurant. His father had a hair-cutting saloon. As for the other Goan restaurants, Snowflake is still running. But the restaurant is divided, with one part as a nursery school. Last year had bread pudding and "market" (chai/coffee mix), later same week watermelon juice at Bastani. Surprised to know Kyani closed down. In Toronto, a new Indian restaurant has been started by Goans who served Goan dishes. It had a stall at Viva Goa and from where I ordered bhel puri. The lineup for Goan dishes was too long.
