Dear Nasci,
There is a common misconception that we can only
admire those that we agree with or most reflect our
own thought processes. Although this may be generally
true, I think it is also possible to appreciate views
that are at times divergent to ours but noteworthy
just the same.
Santosh's perception is not similar to mine, nor mine
to his. Infact, while there has been much comment on
what my perception is, there has never been anyone on
this forum who has asked me what it is.
For instance, I am not an atheist. Neither you nor
Gilbert (who uses a slash when referring to atheists
and agnostics), while happy to pigeon-hole, have never
ventured to ask me why I've not made that leap. It is
because I am deeply interested in the occult. Always
have been. I find the whole spectrum of mysticism from
the genesis of mythology, Elysian mysteries,
freemasonry to Sufism, fascinating. Perhaps a
throw-back to my great-grandmother.
So, the "truth" is we don't know anything about fellow
posters and should refrain from making general
assumptions about their views or beliefs.
