With all due respect to Jessica lall and her family, i an indian citizen wishes to know , do we have to wait for a murder to amend a CrPc, couldn't this be done much earlier, so that many such cases , could have taken advantage of this amendment (if at all the Union Cabinet is serious in considering )???
A murder is a murder and the culprit shoud be dealt with lawfully, Jessica Lall is a human being like all of us , how many people get murdered, raped , such cases must be unending in the courts of law being heard for several years , even the victims must be dead or alive no one knows, whether the families of the victims have been favoured with justice is not known, so what is the difference between the murder of common people and Jessica Lall to the extent of Amending the CrPc. I was thinking it would be a united fight if we could consider all those cases in our country which are still pending unsolved (if any) , be it in any form of crime more specifically Murder and rape , give equal coverage to those cases where poor people fall victims to such crimes and we feel otherwise. My prayers are with Jessica Lall and family but also with all those poor families who undergo lot of trauma and suffering and nothing is done.
