-besides Damor/Tarr, I also remember people using Dry cell/battery powder as mixture (cowdung application) -Like in wall paintings etc, cow dung application was also done in 1-3 coats. - Our elders always said that People who sleep on cow-dung floor do not catch cold as it does on cemented/tiles floor etc -Cow dung cakes (for fuel) are still used by the rural people in Goa. One can see plenty of them on the way from airport/Vasco down Chicalim slope towards your left. -Cow dung water/solution is applied or spread over coconut saplings (Kovate) and I think this prevent animals from eating.
