You are absolutely right.  Now we are in the stage, where the listener is 
hearing (rather than listening), and then understanding something different 
from what is speaker is thinking and saying.   We often see this on Goanet, 
where the response is saying something different what the original poster 
wrote. Ami munta, "distortions and mis-suggesting".

I hope Dr. Jayant was notified of his oversight by extrapolating the data of 
PARTIAL tumor removal (as in the animal experiment and Mauxi's kani) to TOTAL 
tumor removal (as in removing the entire prostate) in early cancer.

In fairness to Dr. Jayant, his motto may be, "Wise men talk because they have 
something to say; fools talk because they have to say something."
