M/s Goswami's clarifications on aarti et al. are welcome. However, since I
am unfortunately not overly familiar with these practices, is it possible to
confirm that the same are followed in Muslim, Parsi, Budhist, Sikh and Free
Mason households and places of worship in India, which would give them the
aura of universal cultural pattern in the sub-continent. If it is not so,
then they remain, no matter the semantics, a strictly Hindu phenomenon.
