Our Lady of Rosary Feast to be celebrated in Kuwait Navelim Youth Centre (NYC) - Kuwait will celebrate the feast of our Lady of Rosary, patroness of Navelim Church on 16th November 2006 (Thursday) with a thanksgiving mass at 6:30 pm at the Holy Family Cathedral - Kuwait.
The feast is celebrated with great festivity in Goa (Navelim) on the third Wednesday of every November. A celebration is being organized by NYC - Kuwait at the Village Inn - Kuwait City next day on 17th November 2006 (Friday) starting from 11:30 am. Everyone is cordially invited to attend. An official Web-site of Navelim Youth Centre, Kuwait will be launched at the function. The site designed by Allan Savio Fernandes will feature latest news and articles on Goans in Kuwait and about sports & life in general. Further information on the celebration can be obtained from NYC members. The main objectives of Navelim Youth Centre are: · To promote sports and conduct social activities in Kuwait. · To maintain cordial relations and provide co-operation and assistance in the field of sports and education to Goans -- preferably to the villagers of Navelim. · To help less fortunate brethren back home. NYC has worked with enthusiasm to realize these objectives over the years. Kuwait: Navelim Youth Centre will hold a Valentine's Nite dance on 15th February 2007 as part of its annual activity for the season 2006-07. The Nite scheduled to be held at a 5-star Hotel promises an evening of dance and cheer for people of all age group. "It's an opportunity for everyone to pledge love to their dear ones, rejuvinate spirits and enhance friendship." said NYC President Agnello A.S. Fernandes announcing the Nite earlier this year. Kuwait's top most band will play alongside an outstation beat-group to be named later. It should be noted that the NYC NITE organized by Navelim last September was one of the best dance organized in Kuwait.
