While passing through a hotel in Bangkok recently, I came across this nice brochure explaining the local fruits. It had photos, availability details, and "to eat" instructions for custard apple, guava, longan, longkong, lychee, mango, mangosteen, papaya, pinapple, pomelo, rambutan, rose apple, sapodilla, tangerine, watermelon. With local names too.
Nice idea. With so much fruit diversity in Goa, India and the rest of South Asia, perhaps here's there some idea for us to follow up. If anyone has (or can create) such information, surely we could put it online.
