In the report, I find two statements quite amazing. The first is:
"Justifying his decision to join Congress, Azgaokar charged that BJP was a
communal party dominated by strong RSS lobby. "My heart was always with
Congress", he added.
Did it took him this long to discover that the BJP is a communal party?
The second is: Reacting to this development, BJP leader Manohar Parrikar
played it down saying Babu's Congress entry was always expected. "Babu
always believed in power and money politics rather than politics of
principle" he said.
When Parrikar was the Chief Minister how was he able to control Azgaonkar's
believe in power and money politics?
Perhaps the journalists in Goa could question both more on this, and try to
get to the bottom of the issue.
