Oh really, Mr. Rego?
The VCD "Goa Freedom Struggle" bastardized Goa's history. The word
"bastardized" is exactly the word I used in my email to Mr. Manohar Parrikar on
18 Dec. 2004 afternoon...AFTER I HAD SEEN THE VCD IN ITS ORIGINAL PRINT GIVEN
TO SCHOOLS IN GOA. If Parrikar beleived that there was nothing wrong in the VCD
he would have given a copy of it to his Minister when requested. He did not. I
DID...and the Ministers were shocked to see the contents.
That the BJP and Parrikar could not last EVEN ONE SINGLE TERM in office is
also history. The 4and half years of the BJP rule is spread over two terms,
neither of them with simple majority. That also is history.
It is well documented history, and even in the Goa Government published
history books [not bullshit VCDs produced by pimps], that 'Admiral' Timoji Wagh
[ or Timoji Wago also known as Thimmaji or Thimmaiah and claiming to be the
brother of the Raja of Honnavar] traded with Vasco da Gama upto 1508 A.D. and
came with Afonso de Albuquerque to Goa on 10 March, 1510. The Portuguese
colonialists and their Indian sympathisers were defeated by the forces of Adil
Shah in May the same year and spent a miserable rainy season on the ship with
food, water and prostitutes provided by friends of Timoji. This was obviously
not enough.
History documents, that the sailors and Timoji ,with support from Mhal Pai
Vernekar, attacked and captured Goa Port, pillaged the land, killed the men
[mostly muslim soldiers from Bijapur] and raped the widows and children. they
then went through the farce of marriage to keep the women without social
stigma, not that it mattered much. Whether the Portuguese sailors/soldiers were
catholics or atheists is not known. That Admiral Timoji and Mhal Pai Vernekar
below to the same religion and caste as Manohar-bab Parrikar is recorded
history.
It is not Parrikar's fault if he does not know history. He should learn from
history. For that he must read....and take tuitions if he cannot understand.
You can do likewise, Mr. Rego.
So will you finance a sequel to the infamous VCD to show the other aspects of
the same era. I will ask journalist Mario Cabral e Sa to write the script. We
can have the history validated by the Archeological Survey of India, Xavier
Centre for Historical Research, Dept of Archives, Archeology & Museums, Curator
of Central Library and Dr. P.P. Shirodkar to validate the history.
You can suggest additional bibliography. I have done quite a bit of research
myself.

So what happened to Parrikar's VCD? To Parrikar's Govt.?
And where is his party tonight?
Parikar is gone, so is his Frankenstein, Babush. Rane's "Fair Lady" has gone
back to her hovel and Rane is in deep shit, with Dilkhush spreading it thick on
him.
It is okay to say "Kabhi Al-Vidha Na Kahaina". Time you said good bye to your
sweet dreams. It is morning. Wake up!!

History cannot be changed. Whatever history has been
established over the years is documented. A community
made atrocities to gather people in their fold several
hundred years back. That is history. That does not
change anything that happens in the future. The
department came out with the VCD. Now, whatever
happened 500 years back, is it Parrikar's fault?
Is it his fault that people don't realize that that
history happend 500 years back and does not change
anything?
