If your distance correction is greater than -2, you probably find yourself
taking them off to read, or squinting as you do. Your own lens accomodates,
glass does not ! There is a solution : ask the opto to correct you for
reading, then get a pair of bifocals. It is a good idea to be
undercorrected, for your comfort. I need -5 for night driving, but i
wear -4 indoors. My reading corrects around -2. Good luck.
