Plain Wrong >> we should be able to take banter among adults as adults, and not seek revenge. Hence, I suggest that "we" put an end to this 'wolf-packing' of Barad on Goanet wrt this issue.<< Gentlemen, Wrong. Stop protecting your drinking buddies. This is not a derivative work. This is much more than over the shoulder copy to pass. This is more than act of an unauthorized duplicated copy. This is more than an act of plagiarism, passing off the work of other as your own. This is forgery and is really the act of counterfeiting goods. The work here has been stolen with intent. It has been reproduced to be sold. Apparently there are additional titles on the shelves. This is also more than something that can be done by a single criminal. This is a crime which is supported by a criminal supply chain of the publisher, printer, and a retailer. … -- Albert Peres, Toronto, Canada Jim Fernandes amigo007 at att.net on Fri Dec 6 16:43:57 PST 2013 reponded: I am with you Albert. This is not a little mischief that can be ignored by sane people. If the alleged offense committed by Dr UG Barad is indeed true - it would be one for the books - pun definitely intended. Gabe Menezes gabe.menezes at gmail.com on Fri Dec 6 23:26:08 PST 2013 responded: I agree, it is not as if there are no victims in this. Before the internet many may have made a lot of moolah fraudently. Some might even be confused as to who was the real/original Author. DEV BOREM KORUM Gabe Menezes. RESPONSE: I too agree with Albert. A learned professional is not ignorant of what a crime is, to be condoned. We go hammer and tongs when illiterate politicians in India commit some fraud. Some of these are unaware of what fraud is, as they feel it is a tradition. Don’t tell us that nowadays professionals, that too from the medical speciality have started being ignorant. Ignorant of professional ethics, and ignorant of morals! Dr. Ferdinando dos Reis Falcão.
