After spending over a decade in Goa I was missing the snow and decided to visit my other home in the USA and also visit Canada last November/December. After seeing the snowbound Michigan (where I have my other home) and Toronto, I decided I was much better off in the balmy weather of Goa. I guess I am not a cold weather person. My flight from Detroit back to Goa was routed through Lufthansa through Toronto. It was a total white out and nail biting time. After considerable time defrosting the plane, our prop-plane to Toronto travelled in near white out conditions to Toronto. I was peering out of the window throughout and all I could see was white, white and more white, till the little plane made its descent. I guess it was a radar landing, because all I could see was a sea of white with no landmarks. People do get acclimatized to various conditions, but given the choice I prefer warmer weather.
