*Devil in Disguise* The MGP’s minister Ramkrishna Dhavlikar wants the government to seize the properties of hardworking Goans with Portuguese passports and give it to Sainik Welfare. But just look at his own track record of living off your tax money ………….Coming from a politician (who else) whose 2007- declared assets of Rs. 3,00,80,303 rose to Rs. 5,58,50,317 in 2012 without holding a salaried job during this period, we wonder why he would rant about donating these ‘assets’ to Sainik Welfare because he has himself never donated to the army organisation. On the contrary the PWD minister and his brother, the cooperation minister Pandurang Dhavalikar presently ride in spanking new Innovas that have each cost Rs. 11,50,00 paid for from your tax money. Their only contribution (as opposed to ‘donating’) is they continue to bleed the government’s coffers whose only source of funding is your hard earned tax money. While the house remains to this day, ‘it is situated on a hillock a few hundred metres away from ‘Haystack’; with the advent of the bulk carriers, the charter of the cumbersome freighters has greatly declined, and subsequently affected the modus operandi of drug trafficking into Goa.
