Living in Mumbai, I find a lot of information on Goanet, on topics that are
covered in the newspapers, and those that are not. Now that elections are
coming, I hope to be enlightened on the merits and demerits of the various
parties that are offering themselves to the people, as well as the likely
candidates for the chief ministers and other important government posts
that are manned by the politicians.
So far, I have read posts about Manohar Parrikar - mostly why he is not a
good candidate, and that the situation in Goa will not be one which will be
beneficial for the state. There are, however, no posts about the Congress
party, except to state, while discussing the BJP, that it is a corrupt
party. And there are no posts about the likely chief ministers if the
Congress were to win the elections. A long time ago, there was a glowing
post about Babush - but he seems to have fallen out of favour of people and
also the Catholic church.
I am sure there are knowledgeable people on this list who can offer
reasoned analysis, and I look forward to reading some.
