I am sorry I cannot respond in kind to the personal attacks and further
distortions in the post appended below.

But I just want to explain that it is a matter of common sense that funds are
required to conduct thousands of interviews that need to be conducted if the
claims in the religious persecution report are based on real facts on the
ground. The reason for this is that it costs money to travel to different
places to conduct these interviews, stay in hotels or guest houses, eat in
restaurants or buy groceries to cook, etc. If translators, interpreters, local
interviewers, social workers, etc. are hired then they need to be compensated
as well.

I state once again that I "trust" that Justice Saldanha, Harsh Mander, Marshall
Mendonza, etc. have conducted the interviews in the first place or to verify
the authenticity of the claims made in the persecution report, given that
Marshall told me to conduct my own interviews before offering my analysis of
it. If my "trust" in them is ill-founded then some other trustworthy persons
must have actually conducted the interviews. Now if my "trust" that these
interviews were conducted at all is ill-founded then this whole persecution
report is more of a sham than even I thought it was in the first place.

So in order to know the truth about these interviews and their funding I would
appreciate it if Marshall would kindly answer the following questions, since it
was he who circulated this report and asked me to conduct the interviews myself:

1. Who conducted the interviews for the religious persecution report?
2. Did the conduct of interviews require funding from some source(s)?
3. If so, what is/are the source(s) of this funding?
4. If not, how are the religious organizations connected with the persecution
report able to pay for the travel, room and board, translator expenses and
other expenses associated with conducting thousands of interviews?
5. What do these religious organizations do with the funds that they receive
through donations and subscriptions?

I have still not received any reply from the religious organization misnamed
Catholic Secular Forum regarding the report. That is why any help that Marshall
could provide in answering such questions would be appreciated.

Cheers,

Santosh
