I have read too often Ana's grief with regard to the church and priests. Nobody's perfect and so is the church. The church is a body of humans, if one knows the true of the church. As they say, the people are the church beyond the church. A physical building doesn't per se make a church.
With this understanding, Ana should understand the workings of the church. Ana, as advised by JC, should devote her time to prayers outside the church. Pay no attention to homilies, as most often I do, but concentrate on saying personal prayers for oneself and for the world. Pray that the church is reformed, and God perhaps will answer your prayers. Whining won't help. The Alimighty obviously is hearing you, Ana. >From hitting out at expats to hitting out at Chuirch authorities, Ana seems to be shootinmg from the hip. Join a Church group or get people together to make a collective plea to the village priest/s. Take a step in the right direction instead of billowing in the wind. Failing on all counts, Ana follow Martin Luther's steps. Salvation could lie there. Try to save your soul first. The Church has stood for centuries and will stay for longer than we humans. Amen.
