All of thirteen years, Goa's youngest saxophonist Sanger Serrao just recorded
two tracks at Jazz Goa's studio in Sangolda.
Sanger began playing the saxophone at the age of ten and is now ready to take
on the big stage at Jazz Goa's International Jazz Day concert on the 30th of
April. He plays with a maturity beyond his age, turning out to be one of Goa's
few youngsters capable of taking on traditional form of music that Goans used
to be known for. It is heartening to see youngsters like Sanger passionately
taking on the long and hard route, learning to play a musical instrument when
most prefer the easy way out using machines. Check out Sanger's saxophone
playing online at www.jazzgoa.com
