I am a student of the National Institute of Design and I have been working for the past few months on a documentary featuring the musical tradition of the Mando and Dulpod, the film features both stories from Goa as well as Bombay where much of the earlier recordings took place. Part of the story features also the Goan diaspora who took both their musical training as well as the songs with them to other shores and continue to sing them at social occasions today. To illustrate this, I am looking for old photographs (HI RESOLUTION) of the following 1) Goans/Goan musicians in Africa/Portugal/Pakistan 2) Goans/Goan musicians in Bombay 3) The steam boat which sailed between Goa and Bombay 4) The parochial schools attached to Parishes Would greatly appreciate the help and look forward to sending the film once completed.
