Behind the Scenes - SPA ! Stage setting is as important for the success of a show as is the overall performance of the main characters - being that of a musical show, a tiatr or a social evening (dance/dinner). The stage set quite literally sets the scene for a play/drama/musical show! It is seldom that the organizers remember the people behind the setting of stage and appreciate the efforts they put up. A drama takes its peek when the stage setting is synchronized with the core theme of a play/drama. In Kuwait most Goan tiatrs and musical shows' stage settings are done by Santana Piedade Afonso (SPA) and at all times he does it very gracefully..... He has also acted in several dramas and has the inside 'feel' of what's good and what's not - for stage setting and decors - by his experience both on and off the stage. What started as a 'just a support' for tiatrists in Kuwait, has now been taken a turn as a 'hobby' for Santana Piedade Afonso (SPA). ......And he has already commenced his homework and preparations for the forthcoming family Lenten drama Challis Dis ani Challis Rati on Friday, March 23rd, 2007 at 3:30 p.m. at the Hawalli A.C.
