 Wellness Program 2014/2014

 The Goan Cultural Group (GCG) is one of the recipients of a Seniors Community 
Grant from the Province’s Secretariat which is being used to conduct a Wellness 
Program.

When: Saturday, October 25, 2014 
Time: 10:00 am to 12:00 noon 
Where: Programs Room Square One 
Older Adult Centre 
100 City Centre Dr, 
Mississauga, 
ON L5B, Canada

The Program covers:

a) Bridging the Digital Divide -Teaching Internet Skills to Goan Seniors

b) Financial Literacy & Estate Planning

c) A Seniors Mobility Workshop

The Programs will be conducted in November 2014 & March 2015 and will be open 
to all members of the GCG, and other Goan Seniors organizations, subject to 
space availability. Nominal fees will apply to cover course costs.  

About the Goan Cultural Group: The Goan Cultural Group (GCG) is one of the many 
ethno cultural groups which make use of the Square One Older Adult Center in 
Mississauga. The members of the group are seniors in the age range 60-90 years. 
The group founded in 2008 meets in the Programs Room on Wednesdays from 6:30pm 
- 9:00pm The focus of the group is to promote social interaction for its 
members and hold events covering physical and cultural activities.
