You are absolutely right about this BOI guys who work just like the Govt.departments do in India and act like bureaucrats with thick skin on their heads and think no end of themselves, even though my brother who work as a branch manager at the chinchini branch I am very much displeased with their services rendered to their customers. Some years back i too had similar problem and i was fully frustrated with their services etc., as a result closed my account with them. Rest of the Banks are good and serve its customers with courtesy and in good manner and provide the required facilities. Recently, i had a bearer cheque issued to me from a/c holder in Pune but unfortunately the BOI guys in Mumbai refused to render cash saying that facility is not available with them and so I had to deposit the cheque in my SB a/c as a/c payee basis where my precious time was lost and soforth. So what good is of this BOI guys who literally come to your home whenever a new branch is opened and literally cajole you to have your new account with them, you can compare them to politicians, who have all sorts of tricks up their sleeves. GOOD GOVERNANCE NO???
