If RTI has revealed such a wanton waste of public money, it's indeed a serious matter. One does wonder if all that publicity of modesty and simple-living really amounts to the way public money was thrown about to close friends and associates when Parrikar was CM.
The more one wants to believe in Parrikar's public image the more one finds such stories as nothing but showing off one's power and authority with disregard to the public exchequer. eugene
