Dear Melvyn, Thank you for this alert from afar. This age old club was going to dogs with oldies gone and young hawks in charge who were using this club for their own advancement. We then brought in a change with a brand new constitution with renewed memberships (as the old books were destroyed). It worked like magic with the clubhouse getting a new face (sort of) with management streamlined. However, sad to say, this management has lapsed into the old rot and we as founding members of the newly constituted club do not even get the notice of the elections to the managing committee. The 'PANEL SYSTEM' that the new constitution requires is abrogated once, and therefore taken as a precedent. The open house elections scheduled for 26/7/15 will be cancelled (if members are serious about their memberships) and a new date fixed to pave way for elections as stipulated by the constitution. Let me (as the member) say that this will be done.
