Duh - you may be wondering what the subject line really means.

Well, it’s my short for “Miscellaneous Crap” and I am going to use it by
appending a running number for most of my future crappy posts. If you don't
like my crap, please hit del button.

When I briefly lived in Bombay several years ago, there used to be a column by
BusyBee in one of the smaller newspapers. I am not sure if the column still
exists, but the writer had a very rich friend living on the 21st floor.

Not to be outdone, I got an even wealthier friend and my friend lives a good 10
floors above that - right here, in New York. I am looking forward to writing
about him in my future postings.

Now that you know that the visibility of the dong is directly proportional to
your well-being, let's move onto another health topic. The New Year is barely 8
days old and investors around the world have already been complaining of acid
reflux.

Acid reflux? What the hell is that - you might ask.

Well, it’s what them doctors say when HCl in your stomach, backs up into your
food pipe, it gives you the heart burn and sour taste in your mouth. My cure
for that is simple. The fact that the acid goes against gravity (which is why
it comes up - duh!), you simply hang yourself upside down and the reflux goes
away!

See? How difficult could that be?

Just a few weeks ago, I remember telling you guys to keep some money on the
side. I also said when you see blood in the marketplace, all you need to do is
swoop in and grab the low hanging fruit. Remember? Well, the two top indices
are already down 5% in the US. But don’t let that fool you into jumping in.
Even if the markets go up a little bit, it's what they call the suckers rally.
I would wait a few more days to see what other surprises show up.

So what else happened this week?

Oh, the Billy Joel concert at MSG. My wife and I checked it out last night. So
how was it Jim?

I'd say ... meh ... make that sound similar to the cry of a goat :( . Billy's
growing old. He was much better when I saw him live several times years ago. A
big surprise though was when Jimmy Fallon from the Tonight Show came on and
belted out Rolling Stones' Start Me Up. I don't like Fallon Gong as much as I
liked Jay Leno and his singing skills are so-so. Mick Jagger is still the top
dog when it comes to Rolling Stones songs.

And then suddenly about midway into the concert, Billy dedicates a song,
amongst all people ... to Donald Trump! Can you believe that? What's up America?

It's like Americans are going crazy about this Trump guy. Don't get me wrong
... he's an awesome entertainer and I love his gems such as building a wall
separating Mexico and the US to prevent illegals jumping over. But if does
become the next president, I'd rather want him to build a wall to the North of
the border, separating the US from Canada.

But why Jim? Don’t you like Canada?

Hmmm ... I Love Canada ... But I don't like the polar blasts them Canadians
send to my side of the world. A Donald Trump built 'High' wall would certainly
help this poor warm blooded Goan. Hopefully, the Canadians will pay for it!
