With only a second-hand knowledge of the issues, a very minor personal stake
in the outcome and no personal knowledge of the candidates, any endorsement
I make would not only be specious but would only compound all the ignorance
that already exists on the issue in the diaspora, and contributes more to
global warming than CO2 will ever do.
I prefer the decision be made where the rubber meets the road, by those who
have to live with the decision on a daily basis and have the most to gain or
lose - the residents of Goa. I trust their collective judgement.
That is my vote.
