This reminded me of 3 kings feast of Cansaulim and Chandor.
Kings were riding on buffalo's back (Reddo) now they ride on Horseback. I think 
Chandor was last to switchover to horses as I remember they rode on buffaloes 
even in late 70s. Perhaps, for this reason, Chandorcars are known as 'Redde'
