What is not good to see is that Dr Santosh continues to pillory people for their imagined stands, rather than their actual stances! He seeks to make it out that I've "changed" my "stance" on plagarism. My point has been, and continues to be, that plagarism is most of the time not such a blatant, clear, black-or-white case as in the current "Kenneth" case allows it to be. Secondly, that there are different ways to handle "plagarism" issues, apart from Dr Santosh's "cease and desist" suggestions. Placing one's content under the Creative Commons license is one such possibility. Allowing liberal not-for-profit reproduction by those seeking permission is another possibility. Peer-ridicule, as is happening with "Kenneth", is another strong deterrent and solution. At the same time, we must acknowledge that our work is often influenced by the work of people who have gone prior to us... and palgarism not always as blatant as we have seen in the case mentioned below. --FN On 13/05/07, Santosh Helekar <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > --- Frederick Noronha <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > >That's very sad.
