The Navhind and Herald newspapers wrongly reported that the shopkeepers wished to close down their own businesses as a protest. Fine, but don't compel others to do so. One Newspaper tried to lay the blame at the door of Save the Goa Front, citing the protesters as invoking Luizinho Faleiro's name as well as Kamat's. Clearly it was the Saffron brigade, which was responsible for what had transpired.
