Dear Commissioner /Mayor, Please find enclosed some photographs for your information and action please in case permission was not obtained from CCP. CCP is been objecting from day one, for a Cable Bridge at Indoor Stadium to Verem ( Betim or near Reis Magos) . It is true that there will be a tremendous traffic congestion to the main road and it will be totally blocked. Near Indoor Stadium we have Sr. Citizens Park, Directorate of Sports, Gymkhana grounds, and the other side there is Bal Bhavan many other shops and shopping centre such as Campal Hospital, Methodist Church, Fire Brigate, Pharmacy, Hotel etec. With the cable Bridge and the Campal stadium the residents from Campal and Miramar are going to face lots of hardships. My worry as a Panjimite there is going to be total chaos on the road as we have road side exhibitions, Kala Academy, indoor stadium, Senior Citizens Park,, Directorate of sports, Gymkhana grounds. etc etc. Hence this cable Bridge and Campal Football ground both are not at all feasible and needs to be shelved by the Government/GSIDC at once. Enclosed please find photos clicked just today ( 14th Nov) with heavy digging going on, at the main road junction near Hindu temple near Bal Bhavan.
