TO, CHIEF SECRETARY OF GOA
Copy to Commissioner of CCP/Mayor/TCP I happened to visit certain areas at Kamarabhat and other places of St Inez Creek on 6th March 2017 and found to my surprise that the high rise constructions coming up and those built by the builder of Dukle Heavens needs to be rechecked their approval plans. The adjacent constructions are much at lower level whereas these constructions are above them ( see the pictures ) I went to visit also the Branco bar Restaurant and its owner was ex-Mayor of CCP late Mr. Branco but unfortunately this Bar and restaurant building is raised down and given way for the extension for the adjacent building from Dukle Construction which appears to me coming up just at the site of Bar Branco and the work is underway. People around that place told me that it is possible that this plan might have been given its approval by Town and Country planning ( NGTCP) and the people feet that it might be an illegal construction going on. The authorities must take note of this, so that this building construction must be inspected and also others especially of Dukle Heavens which are of higher level. My worry is that the St Ines Creek sewage having no proper toilets and allegedly been discharging their sewage into the Creek. Everybody knows that this St Inez Creek water is black in colour with foul smell. It could even give rise to malaria and health hazards especially when the monsoon is round the corner. Hope that the TCP and the CCP and other authorities takes note of this and investigate if these constructions are the real culprits for the discharge of sewage into the creek. I was told that they do not have Sewage Treatment Plant of their own which is mandatory for high rise building for 8 floors and above.
